Island Well being has employed a new main health-related overall health officer who has gained a substantial-profile during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The wellness authority, in a push release this thirty day period, introduced that Dr. Réka Gustafson will become Island Health’s new main medical well being officer and vice-president of populace and public well being.
Commencing in September, Gustafson will oversee Island Health’s group of clinical health officers and work with the overall health authority’s senior management.
